The Sandy Spring Soccer Club provides a competitive summer games-only league opportunity for travel-level players. Games will be held in Montgomery County, MD vs. other clubs in the Central Maryland area. This program is designed to keep players sharp over the summer—no practices, just games.
Who is the league for?
This league is intended for competitive/travel-level players looking to stay in game shape during the summer. Teams play games only; no training sessions are provided.
Game Format & Duration
- Players will be assigned to a team and coach after registration.
- Each team will play 8 games over the season.
- Game duration: 60 minutes.
Ages & Team Formats
- 2013 birth year: 11 v 11 format (rosters up to 22 players)
- 2014 - 2015 birth years: 9 v 9 format (rosters up to 18 players)
- 2016–2018 birth years: 7v7 format (rosters up to 14 players)
- Roster sizes are set to ensure ample playing time for all athletes.
Registration & Communication
After registering, players will be added to their team in PlayMetrics, where game schedules and all communication will be managed.

- Days: Saturdays and Sundays (games only)

- Uniforms: Includes 2 jerseys, 1 pair of shorts, and 1 pair of socks (for new players)

- $95 – Member (no uniform needed)
- $125 – New players (includes full uniform)
